If you selected contactless pickup from Bagel Bar, text your full name to 587-987-9237 to let us know you’ve arrived. We’ll place your order on the cart outside of our door (West side of Vienna Bakery building – you’ll see our sign).
If you selected pickup from one of our retail partners – pop in and grab your order. Please follow all mask/sanitation/social distancing guidelines.
Bagels without preservatives are always best on day 1, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy them after that. Here are our top tips for fresh bagels:
- Store bagels airtight at room temperature. Bagels will become stale faster in the fridge.
- If you want to freshen up bagels that are more than a day old then you can either slice them in half and toast them or spritz them with water and throw them in the oven for a few minutes.
- If you know you won’t use your bagels on day 1, we recommend freezing them. You can thaw them at room temp or in the oven.
- Come back to Bagel Bar… we’re always happy to help you get your hands on some fresh bagels!

Yes! They’re always boiled before being baked, it creates that nice chew.
All of the bagels are vegetarian and egg free. Our bagels without cheese or chocolate are dairy free. We use honey in our process, therefore not vegan.

Please note we’re only available by phone 7am-12pm Wednesday to Saturday. If you leave a voicemail, we’ll return your call as soon as we can.
We don’t recommend reaching out to Bagel Bar or Gem via social media for help with orders. We receive a lot of messages, so response times may be delayed.
Items paid for online are all made to order. Therefore, we can only accept cancellation requests up until 48 hours before the day your pickup/delivery is due. Cancellation requests within 48 hours of the day they were due to be picked up/delivered will not receive a refund.
We understand that things come up and will work with you to make changes to your order (where possible). We may be able to accommodate a different pickup time or switch between pickup and delivery.If you miss your pickup, we’ll make every effort to reach out to you. We’re unable to remake your order for a different day, but we would be happy to freeze your freshly baked bagels until a day that you are able to pickup.
If you’re not home during your delivery slot or live in an apartment and our courier is unable to contact you/buzz into the building, your order will be left in the safest place possible and the they will attempt to contact you so that you know where it is. We cannot accept responsibility if you’re not available to receive your order, our couriers have limited time to make all of our deliveries each day.
